I got my undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. While there I worked in two different labs, first exploring nanoscale design through a technique called DNA origami, then later probing collisional energy in molecular gasses using laser spectroscopy. My wife and I were thrilled to both be accepted to the University of Wisconsin. She graduated with a master's degree in Social work in 2013 (YAY!). I'll graduate someday, too. I really love lasers, so I've found a good home in the Wright group.
